1. About these terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Pink Taxi Egypt platform, including the passenger app, captain app, website (pinktaxi.net), and all related services. By using our services you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Who can use our services

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use our services directly.
• Parents or legal guardians may arrange services for children under their care — the adult account holder accepts full responsibility.
• Pink Taxi is a women-first service. All captains are female. The passenger service is designed for women and families. Misuse of the platform in violation of this policy may result in account suspension.
• You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your account details up to date.

3. Our services

Pink Taxi Egypt provides:

• On-demand rides booked through the passenger app — connecting female passengers with verified female captains.
• Recurring ride contracts — weekly or monthly arrangements for fixed schedules, set up through our team via WhatsApp or the website form.
• School and family transport contracts — recurring children's transport arranged through our team.
• Driving lessons for women — arranged through our team via inquiry form or WhatsApp.
• Captain platform — enabling verified female drivers to earn income by accepting ride requests.

4. Booking and cancellation

• On-demand rides are booked exclusively through the passenger app. WhatsApp and forms are for contracts, lessons and applications only.
• You may cancel a booked ride through the app. Cancellations made after a captain has begun travelling to your pickup may incur a cancellation fee as displayed in the app at the time of cancellation.
• Recurring contract cancellation terms are specified in your individual contract agreement.
• No-shows without cancellation may affect your account standing.

5. Pricing and payment

• On-demand ride prices are calculated based on distance, time, and applicable conditions, displayed before you confirm your booking.
• Recurring contract prices are custom-quoted per your route and schedule and agreed before the contract begins.
• Payment can be made by cash to the captain or by card through the app, where available.
• Recurring contract holders receive a single periodic invoice as agreed in their contract.
• Pink Taxi reserves the right to adjust pricing with reasonable notice.

6. Your conduct

You agree to:

• Treat all Pink Taxi captains with respect and dignity.
• Not engage in harassment, threatening behaviour, or discrimination of any kind.
• Not misuse the live tracking feature or share tracking links maliciously.
• Not attempt to deceive, defraud, or manipulate the platform or its captains.
• Not use the service for any illegal purpose under Egyptian law.

Violations may result in immediate account suspension and, where applicable, reporting to authorities.

7. Captain terms

Captains using the Pink Taxi platform agree to additional terms set out in the Captain Agreement provided during onboarding, including but not limited to: maintaining a valid driving licence, keeping car documents current, maintaining a clean criminal record, completing required training, and upholding the women-first values of the Pink Taxi brand.

8. Limitation of liability

Pink Taxi Egypt facilitates the connection between passengers and independent female captains. We take all reasonable steps to verify captains and ensure platform safety, but cannot guarantee the outcome of every individual trip. Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by Egyptian law.

We are not liable for delays, loss, or damage caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control including traffic, weather, or force majeure events.

9. Intellectual property

All content on the Pink Taxi platform — including the Pink Taxi name, logo, branding, app design, and website — is owned by or licensed to Pink Taxi Egypt and protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written consent.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent Egyptian courts.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or by email. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
