Is the app free to download?

Yes — the Pink Taxi passenger app is completely free to download on both the App Store and Google Play. You only pay for the rides you take.

Can I book a ride by calling or WhatsApp?

Normal on-demand rides are booked exclusively through the app — not by phone, WhatsApp, or website. WhatsApp and forms are for recurring contracts, school rides, driving lessons, and captain applications only.

How long does it take to get a captain?

Typically 3–8 minutes depending on your area and time of day. The app shows you the live location and ETA of your matched captain as soon as she accepts.

Is the service only for women?

Pink Taxi is designed for women and families. All captains are female. Children travelling with a parent or guardian are welcome. Family recurring contracts can include mixed-gender children.

Can I schedule a ride in advance?

Recurring contracts are the best way to guarantee your regular rides are always covered. For one-off advance bookings, check the app — scheduled ride options are available in the booking flow.

What payment methods are accepted?

You can pay by cash directly to the captain, or by card through the app. For recurring contracts, a single monthly invoice is issued.
